Biografía

CSS (also known as Cansei de Ser Sexy) is a band from S??o Paulo, Brazil, formed at the end of 2003. The name is Portuguese for "Tired of Being Sexy" (taken from something Beyonce once commented to the press; "I am tired of being sexy"). The members are: Lovefoxxx (vocals), Adriano Cintra (drums, guitar, vocals and production), Luiza Sá (guitar, drums and keys), Ana Rezende (guitar and harmonica), Iracema Trevisan (bass) and Carolina Parra (guitar and drums). The brazilian band became famous at Trama Virtual website, which is a kind of Brazilian MySpace. Before signing with a major label, in 2004, they played at Tim Festival in the same night and at the same stage that 2ManyDJs and Kraftwerk performed. In 2005, they signed with Trama Virtual and in October of the same year their first album was released in Brazil along with an EP that can be bought at concerts. In the beginning of 2006, CSS signed with Sub Pop to release their first international album and in July they made a thirty-gig tour through the USA and Canada along with DJ
