Falling Up is a rock/alternative/experimental band signed to BEC Recordings. They were named after the first song they wrote, which refers to how imperfect people are, but how sufficient the grace of God is to compensate for that imperfection. They debuted in February 24, 2004 with an 11-song album titled Crashings. Aaron Sprinkle (who also produced Kutless and Anberlin) produced this album. Crashings sold 3,396 units in its first week. Three songs from Crashings charted on the Christian rock charts at R&R, and three peaked at #1. They toured across North America with Pillar, Project 86, Spoken, Subseven, Kutless, and Seventh Day Slumber in support of the album. Their second album, Dawn Escapes, was released on October 25, 2005 on BEC Recordings. Their third album, Exit>Lights, which was made up of remixes of their previous titles, was released September 12, 2006 on BEC Recordings.???After Crashings, we had in mind that we wanted to do a remix album,??? says Falling Up???s vocalist Jessy Ribordy. ???It is something totally different from our releases and our live show, which is more rock based. Our goal was to expand on our style and show a different side???something more electronic with a stronger slant to programming and digital vibe-- a different picture on songs we really love. We wanted to give the fans a chance to hear
