Eric Carmen (former singer of The Raspberries) is best known for his 1976 song, "All By Myself." This power ballad, penned by Eric, was based on a classical theme by Rachmaninoff. It was more recently popularised by Celine Dion and the familiar opening scene of Bridget Jones's Diary.
