Roni Size & Reprazent Youtube Channel Roni Size & Reprazent Myspace Roni Size & Reprazent Facebook Fan Page Reprazent, a Bristol, United Kingdom drum and bass collective, came to national prominence in 1997 when its founder and leader, Ryan Williams, better known as Roni Size, was awarded that year's Mercury Prize. Williams grew up in the Bristol suburb of St. Andrew's and cites Reggae as one of his early influences. He was expelled from school at the age of 16 and started attending house parties run by Bristol mavericks the Wild Bunch (later Massive Attack). He learnt the basics about music production down at his local youth club before setting up his own home studio. His future partner, Krust, enjoyed an early dalliance with fame as part of the Fresh 4, whose "Wishing On A Star" reached the UK Top 10 in late 1989. After meeting up with Krust, Suv and Die they founded Full Cycle Records as an outlet for their innovative sounds. Williams was keen to describe the m??lange of influences as intuitive: "If Krust walks into the studio and his head is nodding, that's enough. I know I've got a result there. He doesn't need to touch a button or tell us what he thinks, 'cos we already know what he's thinking."
