Currently, there are four artists with the name "Panda". 1. The most scrobbled band is Panda (occasionally styled PXNDX) is a Mexican pop rock band formed in Monterrey, Nuevo Le??n in 1996. The Panda's art is one of subtle contrasts and subdued antinomies, one in which existential rage and titanic will compete all the time. It is a diary of primal angst, and the lyrical level truly parallels the instrumental level. Musically, their songs are multi-part concertos or mini-operas, and, lyrically, are Freudian sessions that elicite all possible interior demons. Panda look inside your soul for all the bits of misery and then turn that coal into what I like to call soul diamonds, things which only Pepe's voice can open up inside you. A lot of people say that Panda are depressing, but I find that the opposite is true. Panda can open many doors for you in life and new opportunities abound, Amantes sunt amentes is probably the most optimistic rock record of all time.
