Biografía

Archers of Loaf were a 90's american indie-rock band that formed in chapel hill, north carolina, although all four members grew up in Asheville, NC. Singer/guitarist Eric Bachmann (also of Small), guitarist Eric Johnson, bassist Matt Gentling, and drummer Mark Price formed Archers of Loaf in chapel hill, north carolina in the early 1990s. The band amicably split in late 1998, with Bachmann moving on to multiple solo projects, including Barry Black and Crooked Fingers. Gentling went on to, among other things, provide extra instrumentation on tour with another North Carolina-bred band, Superchunk.
