Alice Cooper (nacido Vincent Damon Furnier, 4 de febrero de 1948) es un cantante solista de hard rock y heavy metal. Fue inicialmente el nombre de una banda de rock and roll, pionera del género conocido como shock rock. Surgida en 1964 en Arizona, Estados Unidos, logró su mayor auge durante los años setenta. Posteriormente, su líder continuaría como solista tomando el antiguo nombre de la banda, Alice Cooper convirtiéndose en un importante icono del rock que influiría en diferentes géneros como el heavy metal, la new wave y el (deathrock/Batcave gótico), a lo largo de los ochenta y noventa, y retomando a principios de los años 2000. Ha aparecido en algunas películas como Wayne's World. Él fue uno de los primeros artistas cuya música fue descrita con el término Heavy Metal.
